The basis of this assignment was to choose a pre-existing event and promote it. The event I had chosen was PunkinChunkin. This was an event where pumpkins would be loaded and launched out of canons, catapults, and trebuchets at a target. I had decided to give the event a mascot of sorts so I had named my event Hurling Jacks Pumpkin Launch Festival. Sticking to a bright orange and blue color pallet I had created a fun logo of a pumpkin flying past the moon. Since this was going to be an annual event I felt liberty to create a more complex logo that would be fun on patches, shirts, cups and bags.
